| Sometimes _HaShem’s_-יהו"ה title Lord-_Adona”y_-אדנ"י is called by the term **All-_Kol-_כל**. This is because everything-_Kol-_כל is in it and nothing is lacking. This is because all types of influence and emanation and all kinds of blessings and existence flow into it. It therefore is called All-_Kol-_כל because it contains everything. Whatever in the world a person needs should not be requested from any other divinity or place, since everything is included in this title of _HaShem_-יהו"ה, blessed is S/he. Rather, from this place, whoever asks receives, each person according to hir desire and will, if s/he calls _HaShem_-יהו"ה in truth. Moreover, based on principles that will later be explained with the help of _HaShem_-יהו"ה_,_ _HaShem’s_-יהו"ה quality of Foundation-_Yesod-_יסוד is also called All-_Kol-_כל.<br><br>As explained above, _HaShem_-יהו"ה, blessed is S/he, gave this quality called All-_Kol_-כל as a gift to Avraham, being that it is the foundation of the blessing-_Brachah_-ברכה and the pool-_Breichah_-בריכה. The Torah hints to this when it states, _*Genesis 24:1_ “And _HaShem-_יהו"ה blessed Avraham in all-_BaKol_-בכל.” From Avraham it was given over to Yitzchak, as it states, _*Genesis 27:33_ “And I ate from all-_MiKol_-מכל before you came, and I blessed him.” It was then transferred from Yitzchak to Yaakov, as it states, _*Genesis 33:11_ “For God has been gracious with me and I have all-_Kol_-כל.” That is, Yaakov said to Esav, “Lest it enter your mind that what I have given you caused a lacking for me, know that all the keys to the supernal blessing-_Brachah_-ברכה have been given over into my hand and that it includes all-_Kol_-כל.” This is the meaning of hir words, “I have all-_Kol_-כל. Thus, I lack nothing as a result of giving to you.” (Trans. based on Markel and Markel) | וְלִפְעָמִים נִקְרָא שֵׁם אדנ"י בַּכִּנּוּי כָּל, וְהַטַּעַם לְפִי שֶׁלֹּא יֶחְסַר כֹּל בּוֹ, שֶׁהֲרֵי כָּל מִינֵי הַשֶּׁפַע וְהָאֲצִילוּת וְכָל מִינֵי הַבְּרָכוֹת וְהַקִּיּוּם כֻּלָּן נִכְנָסִים בְּתוֹכוֹ. וְנִקְרָא כ"ל לְפִי שֶׁהַכֹּל בּוֹ, וְכָל מִינֵי צֹרֶךְ שֶׁיִּצְטָרֵךְ דָּבָר בָּעוֹלָם אֵין לְבַקֵּשׁ אֱלָהוּת אַחֶרֶת וְלֹא מִמָּקוֹם אַחֵר, כִּי הַכֹּל כָּלוּל בְּתוֹךְ שֵׁם זֶה, וּמִמָּקוֹם זֶה יָפִיק כָּל שׁוֹאֵל רְצוֹנוֹ כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד כְּפִי חֶפְצוֹ וּרְצוֹנוֹ, בִּהְיוֹתוֹ קוֹרֵא אוֹתוֹ בֶּאֱמֶת. וְעוֹד כִּי יְסוֹד, הַמִּדָּה שֶׁהִיא לְמַעְלָה מִשֵּׁם זֶה, נִקְרֵאת כָּל, עַל עִקָּרִים שֶׁעֲדַיִן נְבָאֵר אוֹתָם בְּעֶזְרַת הַשֵּׁם. <br><br>וְהַמִּדָּה הַזֹּאת הַנִּקְרֵאת כ"ל נְתָנָהּ יהו"ה בְּמַתָּנָה לְאַבְרָהָם, כְּמוֹ שֶׁהוֹדַעְנוּךְ, שֶׁהֲרֵי הִיא יְסוֹד הַבְּרָכָה וְהַבְּרֵכָה. וְאֶל זֶה רָמַז בְּאָמְרוֹ: ויהו"ה בֵּרַךְ אֶת אַבְרָהָם בַּכֹּל (בְּרֵאשִׁית כַּד, א). וּמֵאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק, בְּאָמְרוֹ: וְאֹכַל מִכָּל בְּטֶרֶם תָּבֹא וְאֶבְרָכֵהוּ (שָׁם, כז, לג). וּמִיִּצְחָק לְיַעֲקֹב, בְּאָמְרוֹ: כִּי חַנַּנִי אֱלֹהִים וְכִי יֶשׁ לִי כֹל (שָׁם לג, יָא) פִּי' אָמַר יַעֲקֹב לְעֵשָׂו: שֶׁמָּא יַעֲלֶה בְּדַעְתְּךָ שֶׁאֲנִי חָסֵר עַל מָה שֶׁאֲנִי נוֹתֵן לְךָ? תֵּדַע שֶׁהֲרֵי כָּל מַפְתְּחוֹת הַבְּרָכָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה כֻּלָּם מְסוּרוֹת בְּיָדִי, וַהֲרֵי הִיא כְּלוּלָה מִן הַכֹּל, וְזֶהוּ 'וְכִי יֶשׁ לִי כֹל', וּלְפִיכָךְ אֵינִי חָסֵר עַל מָה שֶׁאֲנִי נוֹתֵן לְךָ כְּלוּם:<br> |
