**Tiqqunei Zohar, Tiqqun 69, 116b** And the Shekhinah is certainly included in everything, and because of this, She is sometimes called an eagle, sometimes a dove, sometimes a bird—by whatever She rules over, She is called by its name. Among the grasses, She is called a lily; a fruit tree making fruit. And when She rules over the earth, She is called earth; when She rules over the sea, She is called sea after its name; when She rules over the mountains, She is called rock. There is no creature in the world over which She rules that She is not called by its name. But despite all this, though She rules over everything, She makes a separation between the levels, which are the brain and the fruit, and the husks of the other side, which are like the shells of a walnut that cover the brain. And the secret of the matter is (Genesis 1:4), "And God separated between the light and the darkness." Woe to him who mixes the husks of the other side with the levels of the side of purity. **Tiqqunei Zohar Hadash Yitro 52a** There is no creature in the upper or lower realms that is not inscribed in His name, and so too in the Shekhinah, in each one. And for this reason, the Shekhinah is called a rose. And She is called an eagle, a red cow, a doe, a dove, a bird. There is no creature that is not called by Her name when She is clothed in it to perform Her action[^1]. And for this reason, She is called the "Act of the Chariot," when She rides upon that living being, which is an eagle, or an ox, or a lion, or a man. And the greatest of all the creatures that were created is the human, for they are in the likeness of the entire world and of all the creatures that exist in the world, and for this reason, the human is more beloved to Her than all creatures. [^1]: It is somewhat ambiguous whether these descriptions refer to Him or Her, both mentioned in the beginning. I'm following Biti Roi's reading according to which they refer to Her.
