And act without delay!*** | **וְרָזָא דְּמִלָּה <br>וְרָאִיתִיהָ לִזְכֹּר בְּרִית עוֹלָם. <br>וּמִיַּד יְיָ׳ שְׁמָעָה יְיָ׳ סְלָחָה יְיָ׳ <br>הַקְשִׁיבָה וַעֲשֵׂה אַל תְּאַחַר.** | | **She is called Purim, <br>after _Yom ha-Ki-PuRiM_, <br>in which they are destined to have delight, <br>and to change it from affliction to delight. <br>** | **פּוּרִים אִתְקְרִיאַת <br>עַל שֵׁם יוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים <br>דְּעָתִידִין לְאִתְעַנג בֵּיהּ <br>וּלְשַׁנּוּיֵי לֵיהּ מֵעִנּוּי לְעֹנֶג.** | | **And because it is the Shekhinah, <br>it is forbidden to wear leather footwear. <br>[But] At that [future] time, it is stated of Her: <br>(Song. 7:2) *How beautiful are your steps in shoes, <br>O noble daughter... And delight and joy <br>and many good things are prepared for Her. <br>And this will be at the time of redemption <br>– soon!*** | **וּמַה דְּאִיהִי שְׁכִינְתָּא אָסוּר בֵּיהּ נְעִילַת הַסַּנְדָּל. <br>בְּהַהוּא זִמְנָא אִתְּמַר בָּהּ מַה יָּפוּ פְּעָמַיִךְ בַּנְּעָלִים בַּת נָדִיב. <br>וְעִנּוּגָא וְחֶדְוָה וְכַמָּה טָבִין מְזוּמְּנִין לְגַבָּהּ. <br>וְדָא יְהֵא בְּזִמְנָא דְּפוּרְקָנָא בְּעָגְלָא.** |
